antique printing press

Season 2 Episode 8

  • Kelsey Excelsior printing presses made in 1875-1975
  • Johannes Gutenberg invented the first printing press in 1439

This ladies father worked in a print shop and collected them. This was the Old Mans xerox machine when he was a kid lol.

Unfortunately this thing is really beat up and not worth much. Yikes Rick said it’s worth around $5 in scrap iron. Old man likes it since its a piece of history.
Hahah confrontation between Rick and Old man. Old man wants it for the window in the shop.

Rick offers $25 and she takes it.

DEAL $25

Yes I was watching your show about the lady that found the 1924 Gold coin. We actually came upon a coin that looks just like that but it has the year 1933 on it. How can you tell if it is real or fake? And were would i go to to have it checked out? It has on the back under in god we trust, another ingraving on it saying

    Copy #
EA 0445 what does that mean?

    Thank you

Your best bet is finding a local coin dealer and bringing it in. There is also a cool video here that shows how to tell if Gold is real or fake http://www.thepawnshow.com/pawn-star-videos/
